Thank you for your interest in the Cops 'N Kids. I never tire when talking
about the importance of books and reading in a child's life, or the
incredible opportunity I have been given to reach the hearts and minds of
children in my own community and around the world. This experience has taught
me many things so far, but above all else, I have learned that people
care…and people give...and people believe... A wonderful lesson to
learn in these troubled times.
As many of you know, humanitarian efforts run on a huge amount of volunteer
steam. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the volunteers from many
walks of life who have helped bring this dream to reality.
“Thanks” is the most under-appreciated word in the English
language and I use it often because sometimes it is everything I have to
give. So, again...
